Mini Art Haul

Hello friends!

The Mister and I needed a day out, and, as spontaneity sometimes does, it took us five hours away from home. He drove me to our nearest Blick art store, indulging my long-suppressed desire for new art supplies.

First, I haven't been able to find my watercolor paints and brushes since the move. I need them for a project I'm working on for the future Craftraven store. Second, I wanted more Micron pens, as I only have one for very fine lines, and I was craving variety for the mentioned project.

Without further ado, the haul:

I've used the Pigma Micron pens and love them. I'm looking forward to trying their brush-tipped pen, though, as I haven't used theirs before. I've also never used the Mono Zero eraser before, but I'm excited to try it because it's such a small eraser for fine-detail work.

The watercolor paints, paper, and brushes are all upgrades for me. They aren't the highest professional quality, don't get me wrong. They're just better than what I've used in the past, and so they should be fun to work with.

I don't often spend money to bring myself joy, but when I do, I can't go wrong with art supplies!

I hope the sky is clear and beautiful in your world today and that joy finds you.
